Visited the cavern for Bluegrass Underground & had a great time! We toured the cavern pre-show-really interesting. Loved the pool of water-beautiful! A lot of walking so wear tennis shoes or hiking shoes. It rained the weekend we were there which made the first section of the cavern very muddy & slippy-do not recommend sandals or flip flops of any type. The concert was great, staff was super nice, moved everyone in & out quickly. Definitely worth visiting!
I remember this place as I was a kid in Boy Scouts I recommend this for any one at heart or age this is the most exciting thing that you'll ever do orsi this Cavern is very very beautiful God's creation especially bubble gum alley or what we would call balls PDQ
We had a wonderful day. The tour itself was the perfect legnth to do with a child. The tour guide wad helpful and did not try to move too quickly. It really would be impossible for myself not to have a good time with all the natural beauty in the cave and outside it. Picnic tables served the pefect venue for our sack lunches.
The children and I had an AMAZING tour experience yesterday at Cumberland Caverns! If you've never been, you need to plan a visit!
