In 1984 Craig and Lea Culver, along with Craigs parents George and Ruth, opened the very first Culvers in the familys beloved hometown of Sauk City, Wisconsin. In a sense it was destiny. The son of a cheesemaker and grandson of a Wisconsin farmer, George Culver spent the early part of his career inspecting and grading dairy farms for the Wisconsin Dairies Cooperative. My fiance and my 5 yr old went there for lunch. My son said it was the yummiest chicken in the world. We had wonderful service and excellent food!!
Good cod sandwich. love the chicken tenders! I wish they had a location on the West side of town.
What a great family place to enjoy great food and wonderful service. Prompt service. Very friendly staff. Clean, good parking. Outdoor dining. The butter burger is king. Always a good meal out at this restaurant. Will keep going back.
Jeanee needs to be retrained to treat customers better when taking orders at the counter. We were there Wednesday, 2/14/18, at 3:00pm and she was rude and had a bad attitude! Its ridiculous to expect this from a old grown woman. If you don’t like working with the public, then find other employment! Food is good but she makes it hard to enjoy a good meal! It’s customer service that makes a person’s day or ruins it.
Amazingly fast, very polite and cheerful staff. Great burger and ice cream sundae at a reasonable price.
