In 1984 Craig and Lea Culver, along with Craigs parents George and Ruth, opened the very first Culvers in the familys beloved hometown of Sauk City, Wisconsin. In a sense it was destiny. My family goes to Culver's on a pretty frequent basis because we love their ice cream and hamburgers. But quality of service lately has been so poor. The last two times we have been there, we left disappointed. Yesterday we went through drive thru at 12:30 and ordered 4 hamburgers. We waited off to the side like many other cars were, watched them all get their food, and continued to wait for ours for 20 minutes! Three times trying to get a lemon ice and I've been told we aren't selling it today or we didn't get it made today. Is there a specific time when it will be available daily??

We have been waiting here for 20 minutes for our ice cream, and still haven't gotten it.
I was visiting here from Florida and had to check this place out.
Never again! Went through the drive thru, I was the only car there. They had me pull up and wait to make my chicken tenders. Waited for 20 minutes before someone came out to deliver the order to the car behind me and asked what I was waiting for. Chicken and fries lukewarm when delivered after 25 minute total wait time.
I was at Culvers in Lafayette the other night. Ordered chicken strips for my grandson; they gave him a cheeseburger instead. I took it up to the counter to get the correct item. While they were getting the chicken, I asked if we could keep the burger and they said, "No, we have to throw it away." Throw it AWAY? Really?? If you can't let us keep it, which I understand since we paid for only one item, at least give it to someone who is hungry. Maybe an employee even.
