About this business

At Culinary Dropout, American comfort food tradition is thrown out the window for more innovation and creativity. For example as starters, the BBQ Pork Belly Nachos and Prosciutto Deviled Eggs followed by 36-Hour Pork Ribs as an entree all reveal something familiar, yet new at the same time. The drink menu is just as creative, especially the Two-Handed Shandies section; the 'After-school Special' made with raspberry tea infused tequila, ginger agave, lime and Modelo beer is phenomenal. Went for my 55th birthday with wife and adult kids. In spite of his obvious nervousness our waiter (sorry, no name tag) did an excellent job. The big disappointment was the food. $16 for fish n chips when the fish was greasy and 3 small pieces. Chips were equally disappointing- greasy. I had pork ribs which were fall off the bone tender but so smothered in sauce i couldn't enjoy the meat. Will not be back.

I was eating lunch with two friends and jokingly we said, "Can you split our meals 3 ways, we want to do it family style?" The server said yes but I assumed he was just pacifying us. To our surprise, our two sandwiches came cut in thirds and our salad was divided into 3 bowls. I've never had a restaurant be so accommodating. It was absolutely delicious and a pleasure!

I'm out here for training and our company took us here. This place is very nice. Great food, great environment. I don't see why folks wouldn't make this place a daily thing...lol
