Stay away from this place. My clothes got ruined from infestation and the team doesn't really care about it. They push you away because they don't want to take the responsibility of such a thing. Very irresponsible business to deal with. In the beginning they are extremely nice to you till you move in after that they don't care at all. Every year your rate will increase but the quality of service goes down. Most of the time place stinks from bad odors. Buyer beware. Not hyperbole to say they are surprisingly bad. FYI: They offer “Free 2hr Move” but don’t tell you the company is overbooked and won’t answer or return calls. Meanwhile, CubeSmart is charging you for an empty space. Messed up. Once the moving company is booked, they don’t tell you that the moving window booked is for WHEN THEY SHOW UP (Ours showed up 5minutes before the end of the window- while I’m paying my movers to stand around). RecommendedI made my reservation online and was able to get my unit and pay for it in person the next day. I decided to upgrade to a unit where I would not need a ladder to reach the unit for just $2 more/month. My only issue was the $12/month insurance fee. It was not prominently listed when I made the reservation online. The desk manager was pleasant, attentive and efficient.
Recommend the CubeSmart in Hell's Kitchen, NYC as the manager Sean Prince was extremely helpful even with high pressure conditions. On their busiest day, possibly ever, for NYC moving solutions and the moving truck services were delayed and the usual lines for everything were longer than ever. Upon coming with barely enough time to complete my reservation, Sean was able to ask the right questions for a first-time customer and went above and beyond to help me with answers and solutions in a timely manner. Really bad experience with the manager of the store located at 444 55th st, NY... They have not clue about customer service, a lot miss information!!..no good actitud....pretty much they don't care at all of customers! I have a great experience the night before I moved in my stuffs with the customer service representative by phone, that's why I decided to rent the unit.! Now I regret, because of the lacking of service specifically in this location and his manager.
The staff is friendly and professional. They do their best to accommodate the needs of the client. The facility is very clean.
