Great place & very safe Love the apartment here. In unit washer/dryer is so awesome! Love having a patio to sit on & relax. Great to have a garage for my car, especially in the winter. Feel so safe having a secure building. Really appreciate the property manager as she’s always watching out to ensure the property is safe & secure. She cares about the tenants safety & the safety of their property.

Great place, crazy caretaker This could be one of the best apartment buildings in Rochester, and it's cat friendly, but many people who live here complain about the on-site manager who harrasses tenants about the smallest things, or sometimes nothing at all. Management also tries to keep security deposits, even if you leave the place clean.

We're sorry to hear that you felt "harassed". Most Apartment complexes have rules for a reason, it's the nature of communal living. Usually its common sense, but unfortunately sometimes people need to be reminded. We appreciate that you thought Crown was a great place! As far as deposits, it's rare for us to keep any of the deposit, 99% receive the entire deposit interest. A True Home Crown Apartments is a secure, cozy & community friendly place to live at. The apartment we renewed our lease for is adorable & spacious & includes a balcony, an in unit washer & dryer, a dish machine, & a garage. Any appliance issues we’ve had maintenance has taken care of swiftly. We have made it a very comfortable home with very kind neighboring units! Poor management/owner The manager towed my car when I listened to her directions. 200$ guess who paid for that... me! There isn’t enough parking spots for everyone and if you park on the road you are more than likely going to get a parking ticket. When I was moving out and the place was empty they kept on going in and turning on the ac. Guess who paid for that rpu bill... me! Nice place to live quiet and clean I have to write a review because seems like only people who aren’t happy about something post their opinions on websites.I have to say the Crown apartments are a lot better than what these people say .The hallways are clean and apartments are nice,Very home like feeling. Great Place Quiet clean place, the apartment was spacious and homey. Management took a lot of the stress off me when I was ready to buy my first house and was very helpful! Overall, good clean place to live!
Worst new management Previously this property was managed by IRET and recently taken over by a new management. Since then maintenance requests from tenants are either ignored or delayed. There is no maintenance guy in Rochester and he should come from Minneapolis till then tenants shoul suffer. You won't get hot water, hallways will be dirty most of the times and be prepared that your packages will be stolen.

Although its not instant, all maintenance issues are handled in a timely manner. I can personally attest to the cleanliness of the building both when IRET owned it and currently. The buildings were far dirtier when IRET owned it, the cleaning staff didn't touch this property literally for weeks. I know because I took the phone calls and complaints at the office. I also heard the complaints from residents about packages being stolen, and we've only had one (unfounded) complaint since new ownership.
Everything you could want in an apartment! I absolutely love my apartment! It has everything that I need. I get a nice big garage, washer and dryer in my unit, and central air! You can’t beat it for the price. You still feel very much in the heart of Rochester however the apartment feels are quiet and relaxing away from the hustle and bustle. The new management is reallly doing a great job!

Very quiet and relaxing! We have lived at Crown for a couple years now and love our apartment and the neighborhood! Our private patio is serene and overlooks trees and residential yards. The new owners have done a great job of cleaning up the place and getting better quality residents. Overall its a nice complex and not so big that you wont know who your neighbors are. If you enjoy peace and quiet, you'll love it here!!
