Cross Country Mortgage has been the worst company to deal w in any of my housing/ refi processes ever. Wendell M**** my officer has no idea what was going on thru the process and his, management was none existent. I would NEVER recommend d this company of any kind refi. Complete disaster! Run if they call

Horrible. Do not use this company, run the other way. Steven ****** in a con that drags you along until the last minute. This company needs to be held accountable,I am filing law suit to get some damages back. Always checking with underwriting, Will return calls or questions ASAP. Costco reviews are bought and paid for. Bogus reviews to suck customers into the SCAM. From every experience gathered by this organization and their settlement at court with only 10% interest and fined for over charging pmi, interest rates, is no wonder they're still around just got a slap in the hands and continue with white collar crimes. Most interesting and great knowledge gained if loans are sold to foreign banks that actually help people modify with help from government instead of their pockets things get a turn around. This is the most horrible company I have ever had to deal with. If you value your sanity and health as soon as you hear the words Crosscountry RUN FOR YOUR LIFE!!! I have called several time and placed a request to speak to a Supervisor. I honestly do not understand how a company could approve a work out program after a Covid FB and not provide any documentation of Trial Payment Agreement, give less than a weeks notice the payment is due and refuse to assist as far as over the phone fees or providing documentation of the new... read more

This is the grossest incompetence I have ever seen with a mortgage company. They paid the wrong parcel for property taxes and it took three months of calls and emails to ALMOST resolve it. Then i get a letter in the mail saying my mortgage is going up 100 dollars for escrow property taxes! My taxes are around 600 and they paid the wrong tax amount in the amount of 2250.00. If anything my payment should decrease. I want to opt out of escrow so I can just pay the county the correct amount I owe and not jump through hoops.....a... read more

Do not use Cross Country mortgage unless you want the most stressful event of your life! It started out easy enough. Then as you go further in the process you feel alone. Every time they asked for information, I was on it and provided it immediately. We were sent a email explaining the process but there are alot of things that come up that need explaining. Beware of this mortgage company. They paid out from my escrow account wrongly and then increased my mortgage payment by $206.00. After calling for 3 months and no solution they charged me late fees, reported my account as non payment to the credit burrow and I had to pay 3 months of mortgage plus the escrow shortage. I'm looking to move my loans to another institution ASAP. I will never do business with them ever again.

Cross Country Mortgage was great to work with setting up the loan but has been a nightmare for servicing the loan. They never follow through but claims as Sarah did today that they had provided the forms in October. As there is no email, no spam, mail or promotions mail I can only conclude that once again they failed to follow through. Sarah also failed to allow me to take a survey that would have helped the company find out that someone is noting correspondence on a record which never occurred.
