This company is nothing shy of a scam. Stay far away they do not deserve even 1 star. I sold my home and was in contract with another home, Eric Buehler made promises he CANNOT deliver! Dragged us along for months until we were out of our home and literally left on the street with a 3 year old. He made promises he couldn't deliver, lies after lies after lies. We fulfilled our commitment and gave in EVERY single document these crooks needed and then the games started to play. It sat in underwriting for weeks, told us we were ... read more

We started a heloc process with them and were turned down. Then we started a refit process per their recommendation that took about 2 months and we were always the ones to reach out for updates. They stated that they did not have all of the information they needed, which they did. They have way too many silos inside their organization and do not communicate with one another. Once we found out our refinance would be turned down as well, they then took us down the rabbit hole of offering us a "brand new" internal HELOC product... read more

Started a refi with this company in February 2023. After the initial questions I was told we were moving forward with the application and paid 700 dollars for an inspection. After the inspection was completed, I heard 0 word from my agent except for an accidental email that was sent regarding asset disclosures (that I had already sent). I never recieved even a copy of my inspection. I would like my 700 dollars back for that. This company is a scam and just exists to lead you on. I should have read all of the other BBB compla... read more

The worst customer service possible. They have a call center take your name and phone number and they never contact you. I have not been able to speak with CCM in over a month. I bet if I don't pay they will call.

I wish I hadn't refinanced with this crap company. They make making payments so difficult. If you call in for a question you are transferred several times before you ever actually speak with the department you need to. When you do receive answers, you receive multiple answers and every answer is different than the last. You'll be put on a call list and when you state you don't want to be called anymore. They will continue to call. Just this week I received a call asking about my inquiry to do a cash out refinance from April.... read more

Crosscountry mortgage is by far the WORST mortgage company I have ever dealt with. After hurricane Ian forbearance my account is so messed up, they keep reporting late to my credit- even though we aren't late and everyone of their CSR have no idea the answer to fix our issues. Then randomly they decide they want to do an appraisal on the home at our expense even though we just built/bought the home last year! unreal.

We sold our house in Oct.2022. CrossCountry held $8500 more than the amount in the purchase agreement with the buyer. I did not receive the money until Jan. 20.They held that money since the the closing date of Oct 3 and after the work agreed upon was complete in mid Oct.When I called to talk with an agent of the company, they never returned my calls. I just wanted to know what the hold- up was about. The check we received was for $8350. $150 was for a final inspection.I don't know why we were charged when that should have b... read more

Tried to refinance my home through these guys back when interest rates where low appraisal on my house came back way low for the cash out refinance I was trying for was still going to refinance with them for the amount the low appraisal would have Allowed me to borrow in equity was working with a guy by the name of Ryan Anderson who once this happened I sent multiple messages too saying let’s just refinance for the amount I could qualify for with the low appraisal as I’d already spent 900 dollars for the appraisal he complet... read more
