Crops and Bobbers in Oakland has been the go-to place for my whole family for over five years. We have always been very happy with Sam's service and I highly recommend them. It was previously called Cool Tops. One of the reviews below is totally inaccurate and unfair - please disregard it. Also, parking is easily available and you can shop at Trader Joe's when you're done getting your cut at Crops and Bobbers.

I have always found Crops and Bobbers to be helpful and accommodating. They are personable yet professional. I think it is a perfect spot for kids approaching the tween years as well as a good spot for moms on a tight schedule.

Horrible experience. Totally messed up my hair. $$$$$. Crops and Bobbers in Crockett is a totally different business that had name originally and this place stole it. My friend who raved about her hair salon didn't understand my bad experience. Then we realized I WENT TO THE WRONG PLACE!!! Oakland Crops and Bobbers is totally amateur and unprofessional.
