Incredibly unhelpful, intimidating staff. I used the 24 hour walk in when I was struggling with depression. When one of the nurses saw me getting checked in late at night, she said, very audibly, "Another one? You gotta be kidding me." I never got to see a mental health professional before I was committed to the ER. The nurses gave me very little attention as they sat around and played on their phones.

So I stayed here two years ago and they got me back from feeling suicidal. It was a pleasant experience and I am grateful. However, when I checked in I was told because I didn't insurance that I wouldn't have to pay anything out of pocket. However two years later I'm receiving a bill for intake and evaluation. I'm very upset because this is way past any reasonable amount of time to be billed and I don't have that kind of money. So for that I have to rate it meh.

One of these pictures was taken the day I left for inpatient treatment. The other picture was taken just now, after 5 days of respite and retreat; in the confines of this mental health facility. A Clinical setting that one could call home for a few days. To get some insight, resources, support, and even lifelong friendship. Entering the doors of a mental health facility has always been something that I've tried to do, but couldn't.
