This arena is home to the UIC Flames men's and women's basketball teams as well as to Windy City Rollers, a local women's flat-track roller derby team. Apart from exciting sporting matches, Credit Union 1 Arena also plays host to a wide range of concerts, comedy shows and other performing arts events throughout the year making it a hotspot for fans of live entertainment in the city.

I BEEN COMING HERE FOR EVENTS SINCE I WAS A KID. A LOT OF FUN TIMES AND GOOD MEMORIES.
Absolutely terrible. Coming in from out of town it was very frustrating that they didn't let small backpacks in. We had to leave my backpack and orbit outside the venue hoping it would be there when we got back. It wasnt. Security was rude and every worker looked like they hated their job. The setup for a concert was ridiculous. They wouldn't let you go down to the floor right by main stage to exit or go up for food or drink, you had to then go all the way across the building just to get down to the main stage floor. I went here last night for the "Legends Tour", I was there for ALL the artist on the ticket, it was decent but could have been SO MUCH BETTER! THE #SoundSystem was simply put #HORRIBLE. If you didn't "know" the song it was hard to make out what was being said / song. It wasn't the artist fault, the sound system was just horrible. I did enjoy all the acts tho, especially Brandy, Bustah Ryhmes, 112, Brat. Everyone it was so many there. I'll think twice about going back tho. This venue is terrible had TK cancel legends tickets just because it’s at this location, couldn’t get into wild n out no communication from the administrators or the ticket booth as To why thy weren’t letting anyone in , flash floods low and behold waited outside for over an hr won’t return and don’t recommend anyone wasting time here
I attended the Wild N Out show on Oct 14 @ 10:30pm. Although the show started at 10:30, I didn't actually get into the building until 11:20. They had only 2 doors open with hundreds of people standing outside in the pouring rain. There was no effort to speed things up, get more staff, or take control. I literally feared for my safety as people started pushing and shoving. I thought I was going to be trampled and even if I wanted to leave I had no where to move.
