Dr Zalvan’s skill set related to “Swallowing” was the target of my interest in soliciting his medical help. Been a patient for many years. Dr Zalvan has helped me through surgery and other vocal cords issues. I have always been treated well.
Dr.Zalvan removed a polyp from my vocal cord in February 2020. Throughout the process from the initial appointment,through surgery and follow-up encounters-he was friendly,knowledgeable, professional,and confident. He talked me through what to expect from the procedure as well as all possible outcomes. The entire office staff as well as the surgical team were wonderful,caring,and nothing less first class. I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Zalvan. From the moment I walked into his office with the front-end people through the eventual vocal cord surgery the doctor performed on me everything has been above exceptional and my problem is solved thanks to the good doctor.
I have been in the excellent care of Dr Zalvan for over 6 years. His expertise in his chosen field of medicine is outstanding! I trust his judgement concerning my health implicitly! It’s always a pleasure to visit with him. He treats my condition with knowledge and the utmost kindness. I very highly recommend him to everyone. He’s simply the best!

Dr Zalvan was extremely kind and patient, really took his time to explain what my problem is and how to treat it. I liked that he had alternative treatments rather than just using medication. The office was very clean, each time an item was handed to me they made a point of telling me it was sanitized, and the clinical staff was in full PPE making me very comfortable that they were using good infection control practices. Ava, his assistant, was also friendly and kind. I would definitely recommend Dr. Zalvan.

Fantastic!!! Finally Subglottic Stenosis Addressed Approximately two years after a surgery I developed some vocal and breathing difficulties and a nasty “smoker’s” cough (I never smoked). Thus, became my 8-year frustrating odyssey to discover the cause. I saw many wonderful physicians, but none hit upon the proper diagnoses until last November.
