Dr. Craig Zalvan knew that I was incredibly apprehensive regarding him using his scope to look into my throat. I stated, "I don't know if I can do this" to which he replied, "I am going to do it. Once I got in, he was excellent!
Dr. Zalvan is an excellent doctor and so patient. He takes his time listening to the patient and explains his thoughts and instructions in a manner that is easily understood. His staff are warm and welcoming. During this time of COVID, I was made to relax and felt comfortable that Office guidelines were being followed. I highly recommend Dr. Zalvan for all your ENT issues you may be experiencing.
This was my first time seeing Dr. Zalvan for my reflux issue. He made me feel at ease right away, and his examination and discussion with me was very thorough. I didn't feel rushed at all.
Dr. Zalvan performed a very difficult laser surgery to remove a large polyp on my vocal fold. The surgery was complicated by a history of radiation treatment for cancer at the base of my tongue twenty years prior. All through the process from diagnosis to post-surgical evaluation, Dr. Zalvan was informative, caring, and professional. This year has been hard on everyone ...I thought when I almost died in May (not from the virus) I was home free ....then one morning I woke up with half a voice...I went to ENT and learned I had a paralyzed vocal cord. Dr.Zalvan gave me an injection and it helped but my voice was still not clear even after I had voice therapy. So I got another injection and yes my voice is back now my 98 yr old Mom can understand me ...THANKS DR.ZALVAN

I had a sore throat for many weeks and then developed tenderness along the side of my neck. I followed dr Zalvan’s plant based diet and my symptoms started abating in one week’s time. By my follow up appointment I was completely healed. Additionally, my entire body feels healthy and strong. Dr Zalvan’s knowledge of ENT issues is amazing. It was great to feel better without having to take medication.
