This office blatantly lied to us multiple times about contacting our insurance provider, resulting in a serious delay in necessary medical care. We went in person twice to resolve the issue, and they still refused to do their job. They are impossible to reach, avoid accountability, and have zero regard for their patients’ well-being. If you care about getting the medical care you need, do not trust this office. We are now filing complaints with the Florida Medical Board and our insurance company due to their negligence.
I've been using Dr. Yunk and the others at the office Michelle and Brittany for a couple years now. I've always have had a good experience. They have helped when I sent a message in as well.
Terrible office service. Pharmacy was asking for prescription clarification. They contacted Dr. Yunk’ office multiple times during 5 days period, I called for 2 days in a row too asking medical assistant to contact pharmacy. After 5 days of pharmacy and my own attempts to get medical assistant' response I was told she is trying, but the pharmacy number seems to be wrong and for this reason she could not speak with them. Note: simple Google search gives my pharmacy phone number correctly. The issue is not resolved still and t... read more
After seeing this doctor for many years, I was told they are no longer seeing patients over the age of 64. A staff person told me that was because the doctor doesn't specialize in this age. If that is true, this seems like a lack of training for any age to consider. To me, the billing office doesn't want to deal with Medicare. It is not great to have to find a new doctor after devloping a relationship with a practice over the yeras.
We have had Dr. Yunk as our primary care physician for several years since moving to Florida. Called to book my yearly check-up and was informed by the scheduling rep that I needed to get my lab blood work done before they would book an appointment with me. She told me that the script was already in the system and Quest would see it in the system and as soon as the results came in, I could call back and book my appointment. So I go to Quest for bloodwork and there is no script in the system and as usual, no one in their offi... read more
No one will ever call you back and when they do after leaving numerous messages, they are rude and just talk over you. Dr. Yunk himself is nice, but you deal with his staff more, so I highly recommend you go somewhere else.
I’ve been seeing Dr Yunk and PA Michele De Marco for years. I found Dr Yunk after he changed practices and I had to hunt him down! Lol. Great listener and really cares about your health.
A great professional who shows true concern for his patients.
I called to make an appointment as a new patient. After being on hold for a bit and giving my insurance information which is good insurance, I was told that it was outside his scope of practice to take new patients over the age of 60. That makes absolutely no sense. I am stil a year and a half away from Medicare. It left a very bad taste in my mouth.
