I am so grateful for everything Dr. Carter did for my son. He made us feel reassured, informed, and comfortable throughout the entire process before, during, and after surgery. A rare gem of a human being. You can tell he actually cares and wants each patient to feel seen, heard, and well taken care of. Office staff were always caring and considerate. Ashley the NP was always great as well. 10O% recommend!

He and Ashley NP took me serious and got to the root of my problem. Turns out I have a rare condition that required a referral to a specialist at Vanderbilt. I would highly recommend him. He has the compassionate and caring nature that puts a patient at ease as well.

First thing I noticed is that he listens! He has a good sense of humor and a light personality. Not your typical stiff-pants, full of themselves doctor. He was gentle with my injury and used layman terms to explain what was going on with my injury. I would highly recommend him, especially for those with “white-coat syndrome”

After a fall Dr Carter treated fracture of right elbow radial head, scaphoid fracture in right hand & prescribed my physical therapy. Subsequently diagnosed my right shoulder arthritis and need for Followup with Shoulder specialist. Dr Carter listens carefully to symptoms, patiently and gently assesses injury and follows up with the physical therapists.
