First restaurant we went to in Surf City. The menus were crumpled and dirty, and the food was NOT what was expected for the price we paid. Our bill was close to $50 for lunch for two. For a meal at that price, the fact that our food was served in dollar store baskets with plastic silverware was less than satisfactory.
We have been wanting to try this and now I can say, been there, done that. It took the waitress a while to take our drink orders and then our food came before the drinks and we had to ask for silverware. The seafood wasn't awful, but I expected much better. The pasta salad and slaw were pretty bland. There are MUCH better places to eat on Topsail
Food was ok, Crab was over cooked. the wait staff was terrible. Normally I am patient but some of the worst I have seen. They need some kind of management.
Amazing food. But god it's the worst service you can imagine. Ignored at the door for a good 20 minutes, and takes a good 20 minutes just to get a drink. Food takes nearly an hour. Either you're understaffed or you need to take a day and retrain some people.
2 hour wait (after we ordered) and 4 of 8 orders wrong or incomplete. We will not be coming back here again!!!
This is the worst restaurant in Surf City. My wife and I decided to stop in and have a bite the worst mistake of my life the food was cold by the time it got to us, but that's not the worst of it we had already been sitting there for about an hour.
You couldn't pay me to go back and give them my business. Our waitress never introduced herself nor did she ever smile. We only saw her 4 times.. When she took our drink order, food order, one refill, and brought the tab. When we arrived we waited at the very least over 10 minutes for her to come by to take the drink order..
