The only place on the island to get hard crabs. Great atmosphere, great service, live music. The only bad thing is that they don't have real knives which makes opening crabs difficult.
we recently ate at Max's which is right next door and I told my husband when we came back I wanted to try the Crab Pot! Let me just say this was my first and last time I would ever eat here. The food was horrible, had no taste what so ever, some of it was cold, they didn't have butter for the corn on cob and the staff was almost as bad as the food.
5 star prices 1 star food and service! Everything in the steam bucket from the crab leg cluster to the potatoes was tasteless. The kielbasa had plenty of flavor if nasty is a flavor. I suspect they were all boiled in the same pot. Making your customers wait 5 times as long as it should for food just so they will buy more drinks because you don't have A/C is not good business practice. Waited too long for food. Service is horrible. Ridiculous.
My husband and I decided to try this on our last evening in town. So wish we had tried it sooner! We had Jen as our waitress. The food was phenomenal, as was the service! Jen and the Crab Pot were amazing. And, I believe it was Matt playing live music. He was awesome, too!

This place could not steam, oysters, crab legs or mussels, our waiter was on something an couldn't remember our food or drinks the only reason I gave it a 2 is because the bar tinder was awesome an she deserves all the credit from our table thank you bar tinder, but my family and I will never eat there again.... 0 out of 9 liked there food

Didn't even eat; Waited for my table to be cleaned; She said one sec. I'll be right with you" The hostess said would you like a bar?" I said, no thanks id like a table" She said ; ok if you don't mind waiting I'll clean one for you;" She cleans the table' ... Then she gave it to the family after me' So I left
