Yes, this is the Coyote Ugly that the movie of the same name was modeled after. However, the real version is a bit more seedy and lacks the Hollywood lighting. Both Wall Street types and New York University students are regulars here as well as plenty of tourists. Overall, it's a fun place to have a drink and sometimes the beautiful bartenders will jump on the bar and have a shot, just like in the movie.

It's a magical place. And has my vote for worse bathroom in Manhattan!
Recently renovated. Friendly staff and security. Decent prices. Entertaining. Pay as you go jukebox. Mostly country. Great bar for any night of the week, if you don't mind entertainment!
Nice place, good music... Only bad thing is the bar top is made of wood, so those that dance on it make the damn thing shake so much beers would fall off and the "security" would get an attitude with ME like i dropped the beer.

I love this place went there for the first time yesterday because I love the movie so much and had to see it for myself in person. The environment is great the drinks are very cold and the coyoties are beautiful. I saw one coyote and her name is Noelle and she was awesome she helped make my first visit there very pleasant and enjoyable and made my experience at coyote ugly saloon nyc very fun and exciting as well and she made me leave a happy and satisfied customer I can't wait to go there again and see Noelle and visit coyo... read more
Best Bar I ve ever been. Very nice and very friendly bartenders.I will never forget that evening in my life ,and will return as soon as possible. And I will wear my new shirt with honor :-)
