Yes, this is the Coyote Ugly that the movie of the same name was modeled after. However, the real version is a bit more seedy and lacks the Hollywood lighting. Both Wall Street types and New York University students are regulars here as well as plenty of tourists. Overall, it's a fun place to have a drink and sometimes the beautiful bartenders will jump on the bar and have a shot, just like in the movie.

Great joint. No pretensions. Just a place to drink and have a nice time. No hanging ferns or people that Think they're cool. A real place with real people.
