Yes, this is the Coyote Ugly that the movie of the same name was modeled after. However, the real version is a bit more seedy and lacks the Hollywood lighting. Both Wall Street types and New York University students are regulars here as well as plenty of tourists. Overall, it's a fun place to have a drink and sometimes the beautiful bartenders will jump on the bar and have a shot, just like in the movie.

Great bar , I wish I had experienced this on an evening... loved it
I'm an NYC local, I recently found out about this place and last weekend was my first time going. I had so much fun I went Friday and Saturday night, I ended up staying for hours both nights. I love to dance, I have endless energy for dancing. I've met really nice people there, a lot of the people who show up seem really chill. My favorite bar in NYC. Cammi is the coolest bartender I've ever met.

Came to NYC for my 40th birthday girls weekend. Coyote ugly was the main reason NYC was our destination. Dancing on the bar was on my bucket list and I am thrilled to say I checked that one off! The ladies behind the bar (and on top of the bar) were absolutely amazing! They immediately made us feel welcome and mde sure we had an incredible time all night long!! Thank you for such a great night!

My friend and I stopped in randomly on a Saturday afternoon. bartender Elise was awesome! I had a great time!
The bartenders and staff were friendly and the company was good. It's not exactly what I was picturing, but I had a blast!! Would definitely go again!
