Hotel is under construction, can’t believe they take reservations. Could hardly breathe with all the artificial fragrance running through the air vents. Had to rebook another hotel down the street and on top of it they were not willing to issue a refund. Very disappointed in the service. I’m usually a huge fan of Marriott properties and travel frequently.
The hotel’s location is great and very close to Niagara Falls, which is the main reason we chose to stay here. However, when I made the reservation through Booking.com, I specifically booked a rate that included breakfast. The next morning, when we went to have breakfast, we were told that we had to pay for it. We went to the front desk to explain the situation, but they said there was nothing they could do. Unfortunately I can’t recommend this hotel. As a longtime customer, I understand people are people, and we don’t always have our best days, but when we deal with the public, we have to be in our best behavior. I didn’t receive this from Tameka when I called to request the bill from my night there after I checked out earlier today and not having received the bill via email. I told and spelled my name multiple times, was placed on a hold and then taken to an AI agent and then taken to a central Marriott agent that was unable t... read more
