We had at least 10 rooms between all of us for a wedding. The breakfast was pay only and minimal; the bar was not open ("no kegs to hook up"; the staff was minimal. Good hotel only if you want to have a room to stay in. We only got one regular coffee in our room and had to hunt for the maid to get another; just not up to Marriott reputation. First time I've stayed in a Marriott hotel that didn't have complimentary coffee in lobby! Everything was extra pay!
My favorite place to stay in Ames. Super nice and modern rooms, very clean. Fitness center was extremely nice and large with lots of equipment that actually works. Staff is very friendly and deals with any issues quickly and professionally.
Trying to get Mariott gift cards applied to my stay and running into so many issues. Staff can’t figure out how to apply them and the manager is never available and doesn’t call back after multiple messages left after I left.
