Great service and great food. And lots of space! Don't let the amount of cars fool you, this place is huge!
My family (Stewart party of 27) came in and ate last Saturday night. We had the best waitress, Kayleigh taking care of us. She made sure all our orders were right and everything came out hot! The food was great and the service was outstanding. Kayleigh was friendly and stayed on top of everything. We couldn't have had a better time. Will highly recommend Country Tavern and also Kayleigh!!! Thanks so much!!
A buddy and I came up from Dallas on our way to Minden and stopped in. He talked about it several times on the way and insisted that I let him order for me. He ordered the fillet (steak) and au gratin potatoes. It was delicious! Some of the best steak I've ever eaten.
We had the sampler for the appetizer it was sooooo good!!! The BBQ sauce has just the right spice, the best!! My daughter and son in law ordered the grilled chicken sandwich and I got a cheeseburger. That was the best burger I have ever had!! Yummm
Food was great!!! Waitress was great!! First time eating there and will be back ! We attended an Birthday party on the patio and it was great!
They NEVER disappoint! Great brisket, ribs, and sides...top it off with their fabulous dessert and you'll go home full and very, very happy!
One evening, maybe two weeks ago, on a Monday or Tuesday at 8:40pm, a young lady (attending employee) stated they were closing and stop taking orders at 8:30pm. I wanted a carry out. She asked the cook and he restated the same, the grill was shut down. The posted "closing time" was 9pm. I really enjoyed my previous visit, however, because of this I doubt if I will return. They have the best B.B.Q. I have ever had. Always very friendly staff. Service is so great. Simple list of meats and sides.
