Amazing Ribs! We come once a year from Dallas to eat here. I wish they had a restaurant where I live. If you have never been get Ribs, Augratin Potatoes & baked beans.
The food and service are always awesome! Their au gratian potatoes are THE BEST....in town! The ribeye is a must! Best food in Shreveport/Bossier!

Country Tavern has the best steaks, ribs, heck all their food is best in the S'port, Bossier City area. My Wife (Kathryn) and I always enjoy eating at this establishment. Their food is always consistently great, it is always clean and their waiting Staff is very professional, cordial and friendly. I recommend Country Tavern to all my friends. We usually have a Ms Tiffany Van Daele as our Waitress and She is top notch in our book and opinion.
Will never go back. Too cold inside so sat outside near the bar. Sexually obscene "music" played loud. Made me sick to hear it. Can't believe it is even a selection offered. Food ok.
Had d chopped beef sandwich it was tooooo salty. Beans were very bland, bbq sauce was wstery, coleslaw was great
Attended our company party last night, this was a planned, scheduled event, reserved at least 2 weeks in advance... our party of approximately 40 people arrived at 6 p.m., we were given 1 waitress!!! Our orders FINALLY started coming out around 8:45, steaks were cold, orders were wrong and some were completely forgotten. I will never recommend Country Tavern.
