Overall I thought my meal and experience were pretty good. The ribs were nice and meaty and cooked very well. I’m a dry guy so I appreciate them served with the sauce on the side cause I forgot to specify. The potatoes au gratin were awesome. I would give 5 stars but my steak was slightly over cooked. I ordered medium rare and got medium but still juicy. Still for the price of the steak they should get it right. The chef should know when they’re the right temperature.
Boy oh boy! We ate here for the first time tonight & man! It was the best steak and potatoes I’ve EVER had! Our server, Kori, was amazing and friendly. Everything came so quickly and we were just overall impressed. We will definitely be back!
First time I ever got a bad meal at Country Tavern. Got a brisket sandwich, my favorite, but it was so salty I couldn’t finish it. Real fatty, too.
The waitress was very nice, but overall the food was not good. I got the platter that had sausage, two tiny ribs (that were not good at all), and brisket (which tasted way over cooked and mushy). My boyfriend got a steak with shrimp , which he said was good, but not worth $2 PER shrimp. We definitely will not be back. The meal was in no way worth $83.
My family walks in at 9:00 after a long day of competition and order. It is 1 hour before they close and we were informed, by the poor waitress, that they were out of ribs and brisket. Thought we went to a barbecue restaurant know for ribs? How do you let yourself run out of the staple food you are known for on Saturday night? Business suicide! Probably won't ever catch me in there again.

We never want to run out of anything but we like to have fresh product at all times. It does happen from time to time that you sell out. With the cook times being so long it's hard to predict how much product to prepare and most of the time we calculate it great.Most of the best BBQ restaurants sell out daily. Sorry that we did today.
My overall experience was okay. We got our drinks but that was it for about 45 mins. Then I had to go to the counter and get menus because no one offered us menus. After about 30 mins, i placed an order of mozzarella sticks...waited about another 30 mins to find out the order was never placed. Now keep in mind, we got here around 6:40...didnt get our food until about 8:20. I had to ask 2xs for a cup of water never got it so my husband had to go up to one of the waitress and get the water. I'm 52 and 275lbs. I've made a lot of brisket in my life and ate a lot of brisket in my life and this tonight was absulutely the best I've ever had.
The brisket and sausage were delicious. Also the sweet potato fries and onion rings were so good. Kori, our waitress, was the best!
