Well .. I had chicken fried steak & gravy & loved it .. Also liked my cooked carrots , roll & potato salad & the twice baked potato was awesome .. My husband had the meatloaf and four different potatoes were good lol .. The atmosphere was fun .. And the wait staff friendly
Passing through Lampasas this afternoon we decided to stop for lunch. The place looked interesting so we stopped in. It's nothing fancy but the staff was very friendly and the food was great. The roast beef and the buttermilk pie were incredible!!!
Found a roach crawling on the buffet line and left guess that's why people call it the roach coach. Tried it again and ordered the enchiladas and it seriously looked like a TV dinner dumped on my plate and it tasted even worse than it looked. I absolutely DO NOT recommend this place.
Food was good 1st couple of times and not bad on the 3rd time, but the atmosphere was less than desirable. I was hoping this place would pick up the pace with County Seat closing, but it hasn't. The wait staff like to join you at your table to eat too. Just not a place to eat and enjoy. Will wait to see how the The Twisted Grille turns out..

Great food and dessert :) We stopped in on one of our Day Trips. Happened to be my Uncle's birthday as well. Very accomodating and friendly. Will definitely stop in when I'm in the area again.
Wounderful food and help no complaints loved it chicken fry was good too
