There were five of us passing through on our back to Oklahoma from Austin. I looked at Trip Advisors for restaurants and this place was listed. I will admit this wasn't our first choice but we weren't going to wait an hour to eat Cajun food. And when you see a local place like Country Kitchen with a full parking lot, you know it must be OK. :) My husband & I had cheeseburgers and fries...no complaints on either. We stop here on our way from Llano to our home near Chicago. Always a good meal.
We stopped for breakfast. Food could not have been any better and service was excellent. They were very crowded and we were told in advance it might be a 15-20 minute wait til our food was served. During that wait our very busy waitress kept us appraised of progress. Food was hot and very good.
I was so impressed.. gonna road trip there again soon ❤️

We always stop here on our way to visit my husbands father. The food is alway delicious and consistently good service.
Great hospitality and a smiling friendly staff! The double meat cheeseburger was awesome! But the brownie I had for dessert was out of this world! Look forward to my next visit!
