I have been going to the Country Kitchen for almost 20 years. I have never been disappointed. CK has great food buffet, salad bar, & dessert bar. The ambience of the CK is very unique, the staff is very friendly, nice, and accommodating. Just sayin'
I was at country kitchen today with my family for lunch. We always go there but after today I will never return. . The bread pudding had salt in it..yes salt, whoever made it couldn't read or does not know the difference. My daughter chicken had blood on the bones an their were flies in the place. #neverreturning
Every Sunday afternoon after church, I'd go with my granny to get some good food and enjoy the time with her. Not only was it good food, but even better people too. Best part was that one of the owners was my kindergarten teacher. Never had country cooking til you stop here!
Wouldn't eat there again food wasn't good service was great though

We go there lots of times after church on Sunday's real friendly wait staff and great home style buffet See you all there one Sunday after church
I grew up going here and always loved bringing my family. The staff and owners are so friendly, always there to say hi or give a kind word (even if others arent)! Country Kitchen reminds me of the "good 'ol days" when Prairieville and Gonzales were extremely smaller. It really is great cooking like my mom and grandma made. When I go home to visit, it is always a stop. Love seeing the antiques too!
