The staff was so wonderful and friendly. The rooms were nice and clean. Couldn't ask for a better free continental breakfast .Stayed here and 2014 and 2016. Would definitely recommend it to anyone.
Friendly staff, but I heard a staff member training another person this morning and openly badmouthing customers while I was in plain view. I get it, every job has its frustrations, but do your venting out of earshot of guests. The decor was a bit outdated, but my kids LOVED the pool area and have already asked if we can come back. We definitely will.
My wife and I stayed there twice, in 2009 and 2010, while visiting Galena. The rooms were nice, it's within walking distance from Culver's, Walmart and a miniature golf course, and the water park inside the hotel was awesome. This is a nice place to stay if you're on a budget, but you get a little bang for your buck.
It was a great time and place for throwing a birthday party. All the kids and adults had a great time.
Horrible. Old, dirty. Bedspreads lumpy. Old scratched furniture. Would never stay here again. Told to enter on the lower level thru a back door that was covered with bugs both dead and alive..
The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. Our room was warm and clean.
This place charged me $480 for a room that was cancelled. I never even stayed in the room. I called to talk to the manager and she told me she wouldn't help me and I would have to call some other number to get my $480 back. What a joke! Do not book with this company. They stole $480 from me!
