We have been handcrafting flavorful, traditional beers in Pawcatuck, CT since long before the craft beer revolution. In 1997, we rolled the first keg of Old Yankee Ale, a full bodied Amber Ale with a citrus finish, down our street to the local pub, CC O'Brien's. From the beginning, we've used only fresh, natural, quality ingredients, and a whole lot of Yankee Pride to give our beers great flavor, body and depth. I like what's going on here. Incredibly pretentious ale is serious, my new favorite.
Great time. We loved their beers and are enjoying a a growler at home right now.
We loved it here! It wasn’t a ‘trendy’ place which made it great. The bartender was awesome. Very friendly and personable. Free tasting of the beer and a self tour since it was a Sunday. Met a super cool dog- Rocky, who made it a topic of discussion how our dog, Hines, needs a friend. Overall, a great place to have a great beer. We will definitely be back.
Definitely one of the better breweries around. Good sampling and helpful staff makes it a very enjoyable time.
