Can’t say enough about this place. I’ve been getting the runaround with a lot of other mechanics, possibly because I’m a female, but they are respectful and honest. Thank you for taking care of me
Took my car in late notice, had an engine/EPC light come on and the car was limping. They gave the car a scan the next day no charge, turns out it wasn't transmission but cylinder misfire related. Pointed me to a shop that could help me out for a potential fix. Honest, friendly and very helpful. If I did have transmission issues I'd come back for sure.
I got my Transmission rebuild basically new a year ago by these guys and I didn’t know anything about transmissions and I wasn’t sure if I was picking the right place or not but they have done a very well job at reassuring me, tending to my needs and providing extraordinary customer service! And I would pick this place over any other transmission place any day, they are really trustworthy and honest with their work and prices. I would 100% recommend to anyone needing work on their transmission to go to Cottman Transmission!
**Long post but must read if your looking for a shop!!** I stumbled across this shop when I made a trip to halifax and ended up with truck troubles on a weekend, two kids in tow it couldn't be worse! But, They answered! And assured me they will do what it takes to get me rolling and even helped track down a way to get my truck towed there that night!
