I've been coming here for years but the office quality has honestly gone down... Came in two weeks ago to sign a medical release form to have my records faxed to Bascom Palmer, only for my records to not be received in time because the Costco optical staff lost my release form. I didn’t mean to pay over $100 to get my contact lenses formula wrong. They been avoiding my request to change the formula and making me wait for weeks. Now they don’t even pickup my calls to make an appointment. This is unprofessional and below Costco’s standards.
I am very pleased with Dr. Castillo and how well she did the eye exam and how thorough. Explained everything and genuinely helped me find the best lens and contacts for me. I finally know where to go for my anual check up. Many years ago I got seen by doctor Barbara and she was great but no longer works there. However nobody I know including myself has ever had good experience with Dr Sandoval. Thankyou Dr. Castillo, for great experience!
The Doctor there is simply not pleasant, nor are his staff. Patient care is non existent. When I walked in yesterday, another customer was complaining that they were refusing to give him his medical records which he legally has a right to. They said to him that the doctor wanted to review them and edit them before he could have them, which is completely illegal to begin with. From start to finish, my visit to the eye center at Costco was fantastic. Bryan at the front desk made me feel so welcome with his warm and friendly demeanor. The assistant was professional and patient throughout the pre-exam tests, making sure I was comfortable the entire time. Dr. Castillo was absolutely amazing and kind and she took the time to explain everything about my vision and eye health in a way that was easy to understand. Highly recommend this eye center for anyone looking for great service and professionalism.
