Very interesting place. Since we had a larger group this place was a recommendation for fast service and seating. This place is a walk up and order your food restaurant. They have many things to choose from. Salads, Sandwiches, Pasta, Soups specialty items etc. You pick your food and then go to the check out where you pick your drinks and pay. Seating is upstairs so hopefully stairs are ok for you. If not there is an elevator you can use. Very popular place for the area. Parking is in the back and it is free for customers. You may have to wait a little for a spot to open up. Fast service and they clean up your table fairly fast so you don't have to have empty plates in front of you if you are still visiting and enjoying the atmosphere. The Italian Market is a must place to see. They sell all kinds of Italian stuff. Buy something and take it home. Really cool.

Nice Italian Shop & Restaurant Glad we stopped, came as a recommendation by a friend. Nice selection of Italian delicacy at a premium price. Cafeteria style service of salads, sandwiches, pasta and pizza. Yummy, and reasonably priced for portion sizes.

Why the surcharge? The last couple of times I visited the market, a surcharge of about 4% was added to my bill and sales tax was charged on that surcharge. The reason for that charge was not posted anywhere and I have no idea what it is for. It can't be for using a credit card because I paid with cash. I have been a customer for a long time. My first meatball sandwich came from their little store in Irvine Park. Very disappointing!

What an exciting place, easy to find right along West 7th Street! At one end there are sandwiches, salads, pizzas, and yummy cakes or slices. At the other there is an extraordinary compact Italian Market with breads, canned goods, sauces, pastas, deli, amazing olives, and beautiful gelatos. My mouth waters just remembering. As I ran in there were a dozen people just stopping long enough to go in to grab their order of sandwiches and hot pizzas. There is concierge free parking behind the building. He doesnt park for you, but gives good and efficient directions for what spots are available. Oooh there were candies and chocolates and pastries too! Very elegant and delicious. It is delightful and fun. Not bargain shopping, to be sure. Real quality treats and great fun!

Bad Food, High Prices, Rude Service & A Plastic/Styrofoam Nightmare - Please Do Not Patronize this Business!! Black plastic is not recyclable. Everything here is served in black plastic. They use all plastic silverware and cups too! Water comes in styrofoam cups!! Absolutely unbelievable to see a business of this size and experience to have ZERO regard for the environment! Especially when they have the space to serve us using actual dishes and silverware. Recyclable plastic is widely available and could be used for take out orders. We felt tacky dining out on all plastic. It made us feel cheap, even though we were overcharged and paid $50 for 2 people to eat some very average food with 2 non-alcoholic drinks. We felt disrespected as customers. And it bothered us tremendously to realize how much harm this business is doing to our environment. If you care about the environment, please do not patronize this business in any way. The food was overpriced and portions were small. The breadsticks were hard and not even edible. The employees were like robots, with no personalities. They had blank stares and showed no care or engagment with customers. Customer problems are ignored. We watched a manager who was endlessly debating with a customer, who had a problem. He just kept arguing rather than resolving anything. It was shocking to see such poor treatment of a customer. Dining here was a terrible experience. We will not make this mistake again.

Good food, quick and fresh The food at Cosettas is served "lunch line" style. You have to be ready to order and move quickly as they like to keep the line moving. The food was very good and the bakery was even better! A bit pricey but an excellent way to get a good meal in a short amount of time.

Italian Hero Sandwich, so good This place is fun and delicious. So much to choose from, salads, sandwiches, soups and hot entrees plus pizza! We split the Italian Hero and the chopped salad. It was plenty for two and both items were very good. Counter service staff are very helpful. The upstairs dining area is nice, roomy with nice city views. Stop at the market for excellent breads, cold cuts and prepared meals.

Great Itlaian Food in an Ala Carte Environment. Not quite sure what to expect but the food was Fantastic. Walking in a little taken back as it was much like going through the lunch line in school. Grab a tray and shuffle through the line selecting the menu options. Other than that initial surprise the food was Fantastic. Good quality and quantity with flavor. Definitely worth the stop when you are in downtown St. Paul.
