We live out of state and make it a point to stock up on wonderful Italian food and ingredients while in St Paul! We love Cosetta’s!
First, when we were trying to get gelato the person serving us was incredibly rude. She didn’t even look at me when i was trying to ask her about flavors and she was talking to another worker while i was deciding. Then, we pointed to two things in the case, two cheesecake shots, and asked for those. Don't come to the tent party. If you buy a drink IN THE TENT, then walk out the back, you have to go back in line in the front. And you can't bring your drink back in the same tent that you bou5it in. Even with a hand stamo. Pure BS!
We were really disappointed with our service yesterday and the last few times we have been there. Very rude customer service by multiple employees. We have enjoyed the food in the past but it seems like its going down hill. We went to purchase desserts and had to deal with a very condescending man in the dessert area. The dessert I chose was mislabeled and I was snapped at by the man behind the counter. I ordered 4 desserts and cookies and they were all placed in a small box and tipped over. For $20 to $30. A little disappointed. No Italian cookies. When I asked for an Italian rum cake they looked at me like I was dumb didn't have a clue as to what I was talking about. I guess I'll have to wait till I go back to Connecticut and New York for my Italian fix
"Jesse A." Was extremely rude to our group. State hockey weekend he was filtering out people who "didn't have food" when going upstairs, one person from our group went up to get a table as the others waited in line for food. Jesse was a jerk to this person in our group and rudely denied upstairs access. We come with our group of 15+ every year for state hockey but after this interaction our tradition may change.

Food is great. Customer service sucks. Asked for an extra ladel of sauce and they said no. Was charged $3 for a bowl of sauce on the side. Server was very snooty
