Overpriced! The place is ridiculously overpriced! Good bakery but ever since they switched owners the prices have been ridiculous. I just paid almost $3 for a single canoli.
Cosmi's Bakery for 27 years Cosmi's has been providing my kids Birthday cakes ..( Rum ) without question they are the Best ! I had the pleasure of Knowing and dealing with Carmelia for years and Now Greg !! I wish you all the best and send everyone on the "airport run " to you Tomorrows Cake will land and be enjoyed in San Diego Ca God Bless Nina from NJ
Our Wedding May 17th 2008 Thanks so much for the delicious cake and cookies. There was about of pound of cookies left over for us. (out of ten pounds!) I didn't get a chance to taste the cake, everyone loved it! (We'll get a chance to taste it on our anniversary)Thanks again, love, Steve and Bernadette Davis
Prices are high This bakery isn't owned by the Cosmi family any longer. I bought 6 cinnamon buns and 5 connolis and it came to $20.00. That's a lot of money for not alot of pastry. I know that the connolis aren't cheap, but their price is higher than other bakeries in the vicinity. The ricotta connoli was good. The chocolate connoli was OK...nothing special.
Cannolis for everyone Cosmis Pastries is a hidden gem of italian bakeries in Philadelphia. They have the best cannolis i have ever had. A Cannoli is a deep fried pastry shell stuffed with riccotta and mascaporne cheese. The shells are so flaky and thin they are just a vessel for the cheese. THey also have good pignoli and spogliatelles.
