After all this sleet/ freezing rain/ snow yesterday, no one put a second coating of salt or sand on the sidewalks or parking lot, or shoveled anything. After the first batch of snow fell and that salt was washed away... nothing. Well -- it all re-froze, and now I'm walking my dog at 6 PM wondering where I'm supposed to walk, as everything has ice/ snow on it. Please do not move here for your safety! I was stalked while living here! A man was constantly taking pictures of my balcony window. There were people sitting in the parking lot watching and stalking women. Nothing was done about this. People knocking on your door in the middle of the night. There is no protection here! They say that there is a courtesy officer that lives there but the call is never answered. Please be safe if you love here! I have lived at Cortland Midtown East for the past 3 years and have only good things to say about the community, especially the leasing office/maintenance team there. The leasing office was always quick to respond to any issues/questions I had. Anytime I submitted a maintenance request it was almost always addressed the same day. I felt safe in the community, the location is wonderful and the other residents I ran into were friendly. Thank you Cortland Midtown East team.
Leasing agent couldn’t have acted more inconvenienced and annoyed to be there. The apartments look nice but kinda dirty and loud highway noise. On a side note, there’s absolutely no reason I should have to consent to giving up my biometric data to simply tour an apartment, which is what they make you do instead of just handing them your ID. Can definitely see the cons of corporate ownership.
THE place to live if you are moving to the Raleigh area! The management and maintenance are amazing, if you have an issue they really care and do their best to help resolve it. Location is great, close to downtown and all the food spots. They have plenty of amenities and event’s if you’re more of a homebody. If you are looking for a new home ask for Paige, she is a superstar- promise you won’t get any better customer service anywhere else!
