After living here for two years I can not recommend this place. Residents are not valued. Gate is always broken. Very filthy breeze- and stairways. Front office will never pick up the phone. Valet trash will skip you or not pick up at all. AC broke down every other month. Supposed to be a smoke free community but weed smell all over the place. Maintenance will close service request without even doing the work.

I was a resident of Cortland Lake Lotus for about a year and half. I moved in with my wife part way through her lease and then we resigned for another year. The apartments themselves are pretty nice, maybe a little over-priced but with nice layouts and nice amenities.
The staff is nice enough, but unresponsive unless pushed. When my wife moved in the pool and gym were undergoing a renovation that was supposed to take two more months to complete and ended up taking about 7 mo...

I was a resident of Cortland of Lake Lotus for 2 ½ years and prior to that a resident at another Cortland property for over 2 years (Cortland resident for more than 4 ½ years total). The first property was run much better than Lake Lotus. The apartment itself was nice. Renovated and had nice features. But management and the property itself doesn’t care about their residents. This is my first apartment and I just love it! The staff here is so friendly and nice and soooo very helpful.
The search is OVER for us. We have found our future home the minute we tour this place. The staff here is AMAZING! Andrea at the front office has been a great help and very patient with us. I highly recommend this place!!
Just moved in and it has been an amazing experience. For my first official apartment it was a smooth experience and everyone in the leasing office has been amazing. Would recommend a 100%.
