I scheduled an appointment, but after reading the reviews, I decided I would prefer to go somewhere else. I called to cancel, but I wasn’t confident that the person I spoke with on the phone would actually process the cancellation, so I also sent an email. I received a confirmation that the appointment had been canceled. Two days later, I received two bills, and it is unclear what they are for. Update June 2026: Our family’s relationship with Cortica ultimately collapsed over a potty timer watch. That sounds absurd, but it exposed the real problem: rigid policies, poor collaboration, and deep disrespect toward parents. By early 2025, ABA was clearly not helping our daughter. Cortica insisted their metrics showed progress, while we watched our 4-year-old become more anxious, more masked, and less herself. When she resisted, preferred toys were removed as consequences. The Best
Very disappointing service. Initially they have informed that there is no waitlist for service. Did the assessment ( online) and big bill sent to insurance and us. Now for last 6 months only response we get “ we will let you know once BCBA available” and no commitment on date. We Will suggest no to trust this cary center, if you really interested ask them to bill insurance once actual service is provided , not just to get easy assessment bill and runaway.
