Went in for a migraine. Or headache, whatever. Nurse practitioner asked about head trauma and when I mentioned mood changes and frequent crying, assessed for suicidal/homicidal intent. Wrote me a script and told me to go to amistad or look up general practitioners in the phone book. I went to the ER out of desperation and looking for help, not ridicule. 5 stars! Awsome baby Hosp.we took Serena in around 2 or 3? Not too sure half asleep from driving from austin....took hour nap or so...was awaken by my son...Serena had cramps,was taken to er and admitted fast without admitting...not very long before she had Asher James...was put into room,called grandmas,son to stay with her while all this time they were seeing her...felt we were in the way,but they worked fast and around us...baby went to be with Lord! I should have listened to the horrible reviews on this hospital before hand! I wouldn't recommend this hospital at all!! Don't have your baby there, worst experience of my life...
I spent over 4 hours in the waiting room at the ER with an IV port because I was told I was going to get fluids and antibiotics as soon as a bed was available only to be sent home with a dose of Zofran and some Tylenol because they were too busy. The ER doctor was on his phone while he was talking to me and told me that a fever of 105 was nothing to worry about and to chug gatoraid. I would not go back to that ER again unless I had no other option.
Had the best experience ever!! Nurses were awesome!!!! And they were very helpful. Definitely will be having my 2nd baby here !!
Great care from the emergency room for my elderly dad, nursing staff and attending hospitalists provided excellent professional care with respect, patience and kindness on a very busy Sunday afternoon and evening. Your caring work helped our mom and dad through a difficult time. Thank you!
