Our son Jay was on the PICU floor last week after what was supposed to be a routine TNA. It turns out he is a 1 in a million case affected with his lung disease. After surgery his right lung collapsed, and he needed to be intubated for a few days. After intubation Jay lost much of his fine and gross motor skills. Our daughter was born 6 weeks early and spent 2 1/2 months in the NICU. She is here today because of the fantastic team at Children's Hospital and the choices they made to treat her complications from being a preemie. We will never be able to repay Children's and the wonderful staff for taking such amazing care of our little girl and for bringing her safely through two surgeries. We made it through one of the toughest times in our lives because we had our baby in the best place possible. We will be forever grateful to them. ... read more
My son wasn't the sickest kid in the ICU, by far, but his nurses and RT's were fabulous, truly practicing the 'art' of their professions. I know the teams of physicians that I've encountered on various occasions with my three boys were looking at my kids' health issues from multiple angles. I drive across the state to continue care with our established specialists. As an adult critical care nurse myself, I won't take my kids anywhere else for specialty care.
Feeling blessed to have the care and attention from great doctor's like the Chelimsky's!

My son was born at 28 weeks and was in the NICU for 69 days. I couldn't feel more safe and at peace with the care he received at Children's. The nurses there are some of the kindest, most patient, and most understanding people I have ever met. Thank you for taking such wonderful care of my boy :-)
Best Hospital I have ever been too! Best doctors for my son, couldn't imagine going anywhere else!!
