EVERY neighbor we talked to and ourselves have regretted renting here. They were going to increase our rates by in between 7-19% (depending on the lease time) and actually retracted the increased rate when we said we wouldn't renew (desperate). For one of the repairs we needed we put in a service request that asked for our availability to come do the repair and the service guy showed up completely out of the timeframe we set. I will start from the beginning. When I first moved in I got sent the wrong contract. I should have taken that as a sign but I believe people are human and mistakes happen. So I didn't even think twice about it. Fast forward to my second week living there, they assigned me a parking spot. I came home to an angry note I had parked in some ones spot. Ive just received a notification on my door from this company that I owe them $40 and they would charge me an additional $25 if I didnt pay by October 6. The notice arrived on my door on October 10. In addition I was supposed to be credited $40. So I owe them nothing. Arent there fraud laws in ****? The property manager is not taking calls, answering her emails etc. Do not use this management company. They are underhanded, dishonest and predatory.
I lived in New ******* apartments which is ran by this company and the management company and team is an absolute joke. We werent given any current phone numbers upon this company taking over our building. One of our communal washers sat broke for at least 2 months, any and all maintenance reports were not handled appropriately at all. Despite the maintenance man LIVING IN THE BUILDING. This is the absolute WORST place I have ever rented!!! I have NEVER felt so offended and treated with the lowest of respect EVER!! From day one! ******* (the landlord) gave me a FLILTHY unit with black mold and didn't let me tour before signing. The first day here my dog got sick for 3 weeks. I tried to tell her the unit WAS NOT ready for move in and she ignored me till this day. She refuses to acknowledge my request and lied to my face that she had responded by sending cleaners over. Renter Beware: Stay here if you want dogs and cats and are okay with dog piss and crap in the halls, stairwells and the elevators. The smell is absolutely nasty. There's a massive shortage of parking outside and the underground parking garage door works about 90% of the time. There's a number of issues with assigned garage parking with people parking in your assigned spot. There's issues with broken down cars that have been sitting for months' and months. Horrible property management. Very rude and disgusting to the tenants. Amber R****, the property manager, is never available to assist tenants of the complex. They’ve broken their lease agreement multiple times and have tried to antagonize tenants. Complex itself it’s nice but for as expensive as it costs, it’s not worth it. Steer clear.
