I have been working here for a year. During this time I have watched the staff and physician's provide caring, excellent care of our patient's. Our manager is truly concerned about making sure our patient's and family member are satisfied and well taken care of. This is a place I enjoy working! Doctors are great, nurses are great, but bookings staff and the Heather in Medical Records is incredibly rude and lazy. I paid to have my children's records mailed back in May (mind you, it's damn near September) she only sent my daughters. Then I filled out a new release form to have them fax my sons records and they only sent a few pages, and even though his new doctors office had called them several times, they never returned a call or sent the rest of his records. My 3 y old daughter has been at 79% height and 96% weight percentiles since birth. That puts her BMI just slightly into the obese category. However, my prior pediatrician always said it's not the percentage so much as trends over time that matter most. He said that BMI is just a guide and not exact especially when kids are bigger boned. The doctors are good- I never have an issue there. I've been taking my daughter there for 4 years now, and I only stay there because it's been too much of a hassle to go anywhere else since I only take her when she's sick. However, I want to change badly, because they now ask YOU to get there 15 minutes early, but then you sit and wait for another 30 minutes to an hour in the waiting room (not to mention the office!) to see a doctor. Here are the BEST doctors there because they do not rush you and show genuine concern: Dr. Todd Dr. Wilson Dr. Gelber Dr. Mary W. Sherill Steen is a PA but is on par with the above. All have great personalities. Either doctor Wilson or Gelber (I think it is Wilson) takes a picture of you child to remember who they are and to show them how big they are becoming... the kids love this. Absolutely horrible place.They will charge you $70 just for your child's paperwork to move him to a different pediatrician !! That is insane.Also Dr Shefali parmer really deserves to have a license revoked.My son's ear drum burst the next day because she did not even bother to look inside it !!
Yep, Cornerstone Pediatric of Cary is a place where money talks. You have to pay extra if you want paperwork to go faster and if you miss your appointment that'll be $70. Is there any good healthcare office that I can count on?
Dr. Todd is the best doctor there. She is so personable, caring and has such an amazing rapport with my two children. You can tell she loves these children like her own. She spends so much time with you and I never feel rushed. She helped my child through bronchiliotis and pneumonia. Wonderful practitioner and I highly recommend her! Dr. Parmar - Out of touch with reality – I've been taking my kids to Cornerstone Peds for almost 15 years...love the staff...love the doctors...have time and time reccommended them and raved about them.
