I run a non profit to help local animal shelters with their many expenses, Southbridge Savings Bank has been extremely generous to us over the years. We are very grateful to have a bank in our area that looks to help its community. Since they have merged with Spencer Bank to form Cornerstone Bank they have continued to be involved in many community organizations. No class. What you did to the signage for PT Pet is just wrong.
I have been with Cornerstone (formerly Southbridge Savings and Spencer Bank) since I was ten years old. First a passbook savings, then my first checking account, and now our non profit business account. The tellers have always been helpful and knowledgeable whenever we have questions. A lot of people are confused by the merger--they were not bought out by a bigger bank but merged and changed the names so neither Spencer Bank nor Southbridge Savings Bank customers felt disadvantaged. You're doing a great job!
They say that first impressions are very important, well I'd say that Cornerstone has made a great first impression with me and my wife who own PT Pet Supply. They hoodwinked our landlord with the way they proposed and then handled the whole new sign proposal and then lied about it. The funniest part is the piece of crap sign that they put up in place of our large fully lit up sign and then to have the audacity to say as they took our sign down and stuck it in our kennel saying that we wanted our sign for sentimental value. ... read more
