Great Food, Bad Service I would eat here every day if the service was not so poor. I LOVE the food, have never had anything bad. However, I have NEVER had good service. Either they are terribly slow or the server is rude. You never know what you will get, but I promise you will get one! We actually do eat here a lot despite the poor service which should tell you how good the food really is. PROS: Sticky Buns are to Die For CONS: BAD, BAD SERVICE
Consider Corner Cafe This cafe is our favorite. I eat there 3-4 times a week, average. The food is excelent. It's a home cooked style. I have never had a bad meal or bad dish there. I could not ask for better service. The servers are friendly, curtious and prompt. I've never had a meal "mixed" up. They refill my glass before I can get it all finished. Okay place to eat but do not expect good service Okay I want to start this by saying there food is okay but I have had better before. They do have good Chicken and Noodles. Now the service. The last 4 times I have gone I have had the same server and she was not that great at all. It was slow and the order was not right either. Great Service, Great Food I have been to the Corner Cafe in Liberty quite a few times since it has opened. The food is great and the service is usually prompt and polite. On my last visit, the dining experience was fantastic. My server, I think her name was Allison, was absolutely wonderful. The food arrived fast and was nice and hot. I often recommend the Corner Cafe to friends and family due to its great service and wonderful food. PROS: Wonderful service and great food CONS: Sometimes a long wait but its worth it
ROACH IN HASH BROWNS Never eat at this place! I ordered breakfast there about 1pm and when I took a bite of my hash browns I found a BIG BLACK ROACH in there. I ran out screaming.
Corner Cafe, NOT AT ALL LIKE HOME Last week, my fianc and I visited the Corner Cafe in Riverside. I was really looking forward to eating there because I had heard so many good things.
Food is fantastic Corner Cafe is a great restaurant for country style food - cinnamon rolls the size of your head, chicken fried steak, biscuits and gravy to die for, open faced sandwiches smothered in mashed potatoes and gravy, etc. I was suprised to see the reviews claiming bad service. Great Food, Crappy Service, Dirty Bathrooms This is a paradise of baked foods and homecooked-style meals. Some of it is a lil bit salty, but it's pretty good.
Great Comfort Food This is another family favorite of ours. We know we can always get in quickly no matter how long the line is. They have the best pie and you must order either a sticky bun or cinnamon roll to go! We've had both alright and great service here, I think they tend to hire a lot of high schoolers and sometimes they aren't the most friendly. The manager always seems to stop by our table and talk to our daughter, that means a lot.
