I have always liked this place, conveniently located, good pastries etc. On our way to San Francisco over the weekend I stopped with my family and was disappointed. The pancakes cost $12.00 for a short stack. The first order was undercooked - took it back - the second order was no better. Had to ask for coffee refill which they grudgingly complied. Perhaps it was too early but at the prices they charge a smile and a little courtesy would have been a great idea. And please how can you mess up pancakes.

I loved the penne alforno, I hated that in the middle of my dinner I got up to get a soda refill and came back to a empty table the busboy threw my dinner away ... :-( The young man who makes the coffee and drinks made up for it by replacing my dinner... Kudos to him thank you again, Patrick Villa
