The Copper Queen Hotel, built in 1898 and completed in 1902, was the product of a booming mining camp called Bisbee. Once the largest city between St. Louis and San Francisco, Bisbee is now a beautiful and quiet getaway. While the town of Bisbee has "grown" it has not lost its' charm. Horrible place. Can’t even give one star. Dirty. The shower was minuscule. Room wasn’t retro. Just old. Paint chipping. From a lifetime of travel the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in. It was also expensive.

it is pretty in the public areas..our guest room was small and our wood floor had splinters...the bathroom was tiny...the shower could not have been smaller...certainly not worth the price
we went to the saloon for drinks and food. both were great, service was awesome, even when the blonde bartender got busy, she was still attentive to us. the burger and fries were delicious. we are even thinking about coming back next year and staying in Billy's room for the full ghost experience. thank you for an awesome few hours of our trip to Bisbee! we will be back!
