After four years of planning and construction, Cooper's Hawk Winery & Restaurant opened in 2005 in Orland Park, a south suburb of Chicago. The concept was unique. We would create a signature menu with a selection of dishes designed to pair perfectly with our own Cooper's Hawk wines, made in our own private winery. With sophisticated food and exceptional wines, our concept was born.

I have been a member of your wine club since 2011 and close to Ambassador status. I visited your Oak Lawn location and was treated in an extremely disrespectful manager by a server and the two managers in duty. My experience is too long to post. I am putting the finishing touches on my letter of complaint for all the will read. I will send a copy to the CEO, founder and anyone else associated with your company. I am truly upset by the treatment of me and my friends and family.
I've been trying to put into words what I witnessed Saturday night. What started out as an evening of joy and laughter and fellowship turned into a nightmare. Most of the food is delicious and the service is great. The change in the key lime pie is awful. It used to be great, we even had it at my daughter's wedding, but yesterday it had a different thick crust, only 1/4 inch filling and almost three inches of flavorless whipped cream.
I'm completely disheartened that my friends and members of the Black Chicago Running community experienced the racially based tragedy that took place last Sat. How can it be that in this great city of Chicago, in the Oak Lawn community, we still face blatant discrimination and racism. I had a horribly experience at Cooper's Hawk-Oak Lawn this past Saturday, 2/17/2018. I was there to celebrate my birthday and a group of friends from my run group surprised me by coming. We opted to wait and get seating as it came in the open bar/lounge area. We were at various tables and some (including myself were at the bar). One of my friends complained about the unprofessionalism of one of the waitresses, who refused to provide her name. She addressed 2 managers with her concern. The treatment my friends received today at this location was disrespectful and horrible. The entire party was asked to leave even those who didn't even know what was happening. The Police were called and all of them were asked to leave. The racism that was experienced today was Disgusting. You MUST DO BETTER. This being my first time patronizing this location, my experience was one to remember. The wait was ridiculously long (3 hours) for a table, the server for our family was rude, and the aggression shown by one of the managers toward one of our female members was very disrespectful.
