Passing through Oklahoma on our way to Denver from Florida so had to stop at the new Cookshack factory in Ponca City. We happened by around 1 PM the day before the four-day 4th of July holiday. But the few folks that were still there were knowledgable, friendly and fun. Picked up my long wanted cold-smoke baffle and some rub and sauce. The friends with us are certified BBQ judges in Florida and like the Cookshacks after seeing how they're made.

I waited years for my own smoker, looked at several but never purchased the other brands. Was given my cookshack smoker as a wedding gift in 2012 by my uncle Robbie Wilcher who works for Cookshack. He built mine personally which makes it even better. I have smoked almost everything in this bad boy using their recipes, rubes and sauces. Smoked potatoes are way better than baked. I will be purchasing the grill as soon as possible.
