We have been with Dr.Davis for years. We love him. I am sorry to say because of the staff we will be looking for another pediatrician. I got my daughter out of school and we were 7 min late to our appt today for unexpected reasons. We walked in, stood there for 5 min and then someone helped us. I took my grandson to Dr Davis at this Cook's location. My grandkids have been going to the Cook's Hurst location for 9 years seeing Dr Dayton and he retired so we wanted to transfer all three grandkids to this location because it was closer. Anyway took my grandson just to check his ear after having an ear infection and to transfer them but they will not allow the transfer although they are taking new patients because they are exempt from vaccinations, which would be the choice of a parent not the doctors. Love Dr. Jacob. She has a way to make my little one comfortable. She is very knowledgeable, always reassures me and listens to all my concerns. We’ve been coming here for 4 years and are very satisfied with the entire staff.
My kids have been patients here since the practice was located on Heritage Trace. We love Dr. Souers & her staff. We also love the nurse practitioner, Staci Dickard. But the new doctors and new staff that replaced Dr. Souers and her staff are terrible! They have terrible bedside manners & they don't get the basics of their jobs right. With 4 kids we have seen our fair share of different pediatricians. But when we met Dr Shelby Jacob's for the first time we were blown away by her welcoming personality. She is one of the few doctors that takes time and actually listens to the parents thoughts and concerns. We love Dr. Philipp. She’s been my kid’s doctor since we moved to the area 4 years ago. She was the only doctor who was willing to take some time meet us before we decided on a pediatrician even though my children were already 5 and 1 year old.
