Dad called me at work...take me to hospital..me thinking ok blood sugar to low....NOT...emergency appendectomy...gangrenous appendix...Dad in pain..doesn't want to admit it...gets belligerent wants to get up..not happening..to weak...pain med small dose, ativan small dose...knocks him out..narcan to bring him around. I wish they cared more for their employees who have been there greater than 35 years... my sister, who became ill from cancer... worked her first 3 months of chemo & because of side effects became unable to work then while out of town for inpatient chemo, her job is TERMINATED! Try and pay out of pocket expenses +nearly $800 a month in cobra , not to mention extensive cancer treatment. You think your job is safe? Think again.
